I’m very happy to announce that I will be at Salt Lake Comic Con this year, September 24th-26th.  You can find me in Artist’s Alley, Gold 38 will be my booth number.  Look for the gold table dressings

I’m thrilled to have two new books that will make their debut at this Comic Con. First is Red Rain, the second book in the Sea of Sin series. The second is Ronin Buddhism; Walking a Spiritual Path Alone, this is my first non-fiction book including many of my personal teachings and philosophies.

There will be lots of fun things and great deals at my booth. I’m going to try to make it the most fun place in Artist Alley, along with giving you the best values for your money.   Such as…

  • On Friday, I will have a contest where if you guess closest to the number of pieces of candy in a jar, you can win a free book or T-shirt.
  • On Saturday, the wonderful Susan Christensen will be offering a free 10-minute chair massage for anyone who purchases a book. A massage from Susan is reason enough to come out to the Con. Susan will also be offering discount coupons if you want to see her for a longer session, which I highly recommend.
  • I will randomly be giving away The Worst Buddhist T-shirts throughout the convention.
  • Hidden throughout the convention center, there will be several blue smiley face stickers. The blue smiley face plays a key plot point in the Red Rain novel. If you see one, take a picture of it, and come show me the picture at my booth. If you do this, and also give a like to my Facebook page, I will give you a 15% discount.
  • What’s better than Jiu-Jitsu? Free Jiu-Jitsu! With every book purchase, The Gracie Academy of Salt Lake will give you a month of free classes. This is a $150 value! I train at the Gracie Academy, so if you don’t like your book, you will have a chance to beat me up. Seriously though, the Gracie Academy is one of the finest places to train in the state. Their children’s program is second to none, and the people you will be training with are truly wonderful.
  • Each purchase will come with a great, re-usable, Worst Buddhist carry bag, to store all of your Comic-Con swag.
  • Buddhist blessings are always free. Please ask if you would like one.
.I will also have some new costumes debuting. Come have some fun!
